Once again thanks to our old mate and former band member Dave Horne for standing in on bass guitar on Saturday 2nd May.
Are you interested in local club land bands from the past? Google ‘Roll Back the Years’ to remember local bands like ‘The Whales’ ‘Sammy King and The Voltaires’ etc and many others.
The concert raised £1300. A wonderful effort.
Thanks to the organisers, Robin, Joan, Sandra and all.
Thanks to all who attended. It was a very enjoyable night and a wonderful cause. Well done everybody!
At last! Douggie came to back Altofts on Saturday 18th October after an absence of 12 months. Everyone had looked forward to his return and were so pleased to see him. Well done mate! See you again soon!
His brother Mark has posted a message on ‘Comments’ with regard to Douggie’s return. Click on ‘Welcome’ at the top of the page.
Our thanks and appreciation go to Johnny Young for standing in on drums for us at Altofts Club Centenary concert on 18th July. As many of you are aware, Johnny is the regular drummer for the country band ‘Collier Dixon Line’
Once again our thanks to Trevor Tunnicliffe (Mr T) for his complementary review of our recent concert at Crigglestone in his regular clubland blog. www.mrtreviews.weebly.com
Hi this is Norma Lockett from Featherstone. On behalf of my husband Les and myself I would like to thank the band for making our special Golden Wedding night so memorable. We had an absolutely fantastic night. I’d just like to say a really big thankyou. Lots of love and all the best for the future.
Sixties Mix: Thanks Norma and Les. It was indeed a brilliant night and for us a pleasure to be part of it. Once again thanks to you and our warmest congratulations.
